BRITTON PEAK
Head up the Sawbill Trail in the historical fishing village of Tofte, MN to find the Britton Peak Trailhead. With lots of newly constructed and rehabbed trails, this network is great for all skill levels.
TRAIL UPDATES
The rebuild of Cross Cut is now complete! This means that Cross Cut is now a one way trail from the high point on Shortstacker all the way back to the parking lot (except for the very beginning where it crosses the hiking trail, it’s still 2 way at that spot). It is generally down hill, pretty fast with some spicy features. We think you’ll like it. What does that mean for Jackpot access? All riders will leave the parking lot on Shortstacker, climbing gently for the first half mile, before turning onto Cross Cut. Then riders will follow Cross Cut to where it intersects with Jackpot. It adds about 1/2 mile of fun trail to the to the approach. When leaving Jackpot and returning to the parking lot, the last 3/4 mile of Cross Cut is a ripping fast, one way, blast to the trailhead.
